I need some advice from all of you guys that know far more than I do. I have a l4330 Kubota and am going to be putting in a couple of 3 acre food plots, landscaping a new yard(2 acres)from CRP, digging up between rows of evergreens ( several thousand of them) and other stuff like this. i am not sure what I should be using. I was thinking about a tiller to take care of most of it. Would this do the job or should I be going for a cultivator, disc etc.? Any advice would be appreciated.

Landscapeing is really a seperate issue and you may have to discuss a box grader Vs. a rear blade and add a landscape rake. For the remaining you will get a lot of opinions that often vary by the amount you want to spend on implements. I prefer a tiller but you will likely find many proponents of a disk. ....

I prefer to bottom plow my plots first and let them sit for a while, then run my tiller through to level and puverize, this works good in my area, clay to topsoil and some rock. In some cases I may need to use my lp 6' boxblade to regrade for erosion damage, terraces etc. before soil turnover. In the case of landscaping, that is what i do for a living. So do you mean seeding a lawn, planting shrubs and trees or what? I like to rough grade with my boxblade, till six inches deep, and the either power rake or drag before seeding. I guess my two most used imps would be the boxblade and tiller, you cant go wrong with that combo... ....

Thanks for the advice. I think I am going to go your route. When I say landscaping I mean turn 3 acres of CRP (grass) into my front lawn. I kiled it with ROundup and burned it clean. Now I think I will take my box blade and go over it a couple of times, pick up rocks and then use the rototiller.
